EON Adams – Founder
“A Foundation in the community for the community.”
The Eon Adams foundation once known as “Kraaifontein for Jesus”, is a non-profit organization, based in Kraaifontein, whose mission it is to reach out to the less privileged and ex – offenders. The Foundation grounds itself in changing lives through caring and understanding those who have been socially shunned and rejected.
It is proven that when many ex – offenders leave prison or rehab they find that they do not have a support system. The Eon Adams Foundation serves as their temporary support system to build them spiritually so that they can get back on their feet and be reinvited into society. The foundation hosts fundraisers from food sales to concerts and church services to help finance the rehabilitation of drug addicts.
THE FOUNDER
The founder, Eon Adams, was born and raised in Kraaifontein, Scottsdene. For 18 years, he was addicted to drugs and involved in gangsterism. For years he found himself in and out of prison. In 2015, after the passing of his mother, Eon realized that he needed God rather than what the world had to offer him. When Eon got out of prison, he started working at a swimming pool company. In 2019, God gave Eon the vision to create a haven for the underprivileged communities, ex – offenders and drug addicts. This haven is now known as “The Eon Adams Foundation”.
As a devoted husband to Felencia Adams, Eon fervently supports his wife in her ministry. The couple has been married for four years and were blessed with four children. They embraced God’s calling on their lives to serve others unselfishly and for years they have supported each other through their commitment to each other and to God.
